Your proof needs better position
❤️Your Amazon listing probably has plenty of proof. it’s just in the wrong place, and more!

Hello! You've arrived at What Actually Works 🤓
We break down the real strategies, decisions, and plays that actually move the needle in your marketing, and here it for today.
❤️Your Amazon Listing Probably Has Plenty of Proof. It’s Just in the Wrong Place.
Amazon’s new 75-character title limit has sparked a wave of listing rewrites ahead of the July 27 deadline. Most brands are asking the wrong question.
They’re asking, “What should we remove?”
The better question is, “Where should every piece of proof live instead?”
Amazon isn’t reducing the amount of information you can show. It’s redistributing it. The title becomes shorter, while the new Item Highlights field gives you another 125 searchable characters to explain materials, use cases and key differentiators.
The mistake most sellers will make is rewriting copy.
The opportunity is redesigning how evidence flows through the listing.
1. Build an Evidence Coverage Matrix.
List the eight buying questions every customer asks before purchasing.
- Is this the right size?
- Is it durable?
- Will it fit my use case?
- Is it worth the price?
- Is it easy to use?
- Is it genuine?
- Is it better than alternatives?
- What happens after months of use?
Now map every one of those questions against every asset on the listing: title, Item Highlights, images, A+ Content, video, reviews and Q&A.
If “Is it durable?” only appears once, buried inside review #86, you’ve found a conversion bottleneck.
2. Audit your Proof Density, not your review count.
Open your last 100 reviews.
Tag every review into categories like durability, ease of use, gifting, portability, quality, installation, cleaning and customer service.
Then compare those themes against your listing.
If 35 reviews praise durability but none of your images or Item Highlights mention it, you’re hiding your strongest selling point.
3. Measure Evidence Freshness.
Old proof quietly destroys trust.
Filter reviews mentioning previous packaging, discontinued accessories or older product versions.
If your most helpful reviews no longer describe the product customers receive today, refresh the evidence with new purchase experiences before those outdated reviews become the default buying story.
This is where Stack Influence becomes useful. Instead of simply increasing review count, creators purchase the product through Amazon, use it naturally and generate fresh reviews, photos and videos that reflect the current product experience.
That gives brands updated customer proof instead of relying on evidence created years ago. Brands that sign up within the next two weeks can also receive 10% off their first campaign. You can book a free demo call today
Amazon’s title update isn’t really about shorter titles.
It’s forcing brands to think like information architects.
The brands that win won’t have the best copy.
They’ll have the best evidence system, where every customer question is answered by the right asset, at the right moment, before the customer ever has to ask it.

The Content That's Dying in Google Zero (and What's Replacing It)

Google Zero is what happens when the answer shows up right in search results, and nobody clicks through to your site. Your rankings look fine. Your traffic doesn't.
Cyrus Shepard studied 400+ sites to find out why some are still growing through it and mapped what's actually driving organic growth right now
AirOps is hosting Cyrus live on July 23rd to break down exactly what those sites are doing differently:
- The exact 5 traits separating sites that grew from sites that stalled
- The 17 content types Cyrus flags as still worth producing, and likely to survive
- How to turn proprietary assets you already own into content
- Where AI fits now: what to stop producing faster, what to build instead
Score your content calendar against the 5 traits and 17 formats live, and leave the session knowing exactly which pieces to keep and which to kill.
